Scottish Terrier dog and Sealyham Terrier dog looking pretty guilty to me!
The Sealyham has a collar in his mouth and the Scotty has a glove in his mouth. Both the Sealy and the Scottie are suspiciously sitting in front of a man's hat - planning, who knows what!
This adorable picture measures approximately 7 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches and would be just delightful framed and hung.
It comes from a children's book that someone's puppy dog has chomped up the...

Sealyham Terrier Dog 1979 Picture History
The Sealyham Terrier dog derives its name from Sealyham, Haverfordwest, Wales, the estate of Captain John Edwardes who, between 1850 and 1891, developed from obscure ancestry a strain of dogs noted for prowess in quarrying badger, otter, and fox. The requisite qualities were extreme gameness and endurance with as much substance as could be encompassed in a dog small and quick enough to dig and battle underground.
This is a wonderful collectible with both a picture and some breed history...

Sealyham Terrier Dog Necessity's Mother Zito 1937
Sealyham Terrier dog by the wonderful artist Zito, ''Necessity's Mother'', 1937. The Sealyham Terrier dog seems to have a basket muzzle attached to her rear end. I expect this is a little girl dog who is trying to keep the boys away!
Zito whose fame as a caricaturist was well established when he first began to sketch dogs in idle moments as an escape from his work in drawing the world's most beautiful women and the world's most famous men. His humor and...
